“Our kitchen had not changed since we moved into our home over 20 years ago and so it was in dire need of an overhaul. We decided to gut the kitchen, laundry and pantry completely and turned to Wood Wizards Kitchens for inspiration. They certainly did not let us down. Jordan came and listened to us, took in all that we wanted and came up with some suggestions. One in particular was sensational, to take out the wall between the laundry and the pantry and create one room, a laundry/butlers pantry which can be closed off from the kitchen. This room along with the renovated kitchen, looks absolutely amazing. Both areas are far more functional with plenty of bench space and room to spare. Gone is the dust collecting upper cupboard area, replaced by bulkheads. Gone is the L shaped bench, replaced with an island bench. The kitchen looks larger, brighter and fresher. The renovation process from Jordan’s first visit, our subsequent discussions, the timeline for the various trades to come in to do their specialized work and complete the installation was effortless. The support Darko gave was invaluable and all the trades were very reliable, pleasant, cheerful and respectful, both of ourselves and of our home. There was minimal disruption and all work by all the trades was completed on time and to a high standard. We could not be more thrilled and happy with the outcome of our new kitchen, laundry and pantry.”
“I would definitely recommend Wood Wizards based on my experience and the enjoyment of a brand new kitchen. I was somewhat apprehensive and nervous about proceeding with the renovation process, however more than happy that I chose Wood Wizards to carry out and manage the transformation. The finished result is great, more open, much easier to manage with soft close drawers and cupboards. No crawling into corner cupboards now or using a torch in the pantry! “I’ve been thinking about what I valued most about my experience with Wood Wizards, and I’ve narrowed it down to my top 3 (because there IS a lot to love):
1. I was worried about the mess, the disruption, the chasing up of contractors, the monitoring to ensure a good outcome. It turns out the only thing I had to worry about was emptying the kitchen in readiness. Our installation was as near a stress free project as you could imagine;
2. The listening. Of the three quotes I obtained, Wood Wizards came up with a design incorporating things I didn’t know I wanted. I write this from my new favourite seat in the house, a design which was a tweak on a request. That comes from listening;
3. So. Many. Drawers. It turns out drawers are expensive, which is why cupboards are so common. I didn’t ask for them, but it turns out I needed them.
Backing all of that is the quality of what we now have: the soft closing cupboards, the smooth running drawers, the care in the finish. There will be a day when I don’t remind myself how fortunate it was I chose to stop in at the showroom I had driven past a thousand times, but it won’t be any time soon.”

“We’ve worked together with Wood Wizards Kitchens on multiple cabinetry projects and knew we were in safe hands when it came to renovating our country property. We wanted a farmhouse country style kitchen with a natural feel that blended in with the outdoors. The thing I like most about working with Jordan as a kitchen designer is that he will listen and take on board an overall vision, and then help to work out the functionality and detail to get the right balance between de-sign and practicality. For example, recommending drawers (instead of cupboards) and getting the perfect height and position for cooking with my utensils and condiments, to moving the cooktop off the island bench to make more room for preparing meals for our busy family. The addition of a Vgroove door profile and bronze handles felt busy at first, but Jordan convinced me it was the right balance to get the look I wanted. I love the open shelving above and next to my fridge and Hamp-tons style display cabinet for easy access to recipe books, wine and glassware. We also renovated our laundry, wall unit, vanities, wardrobes and other storage areas, where we carried similar finish-es and warm colours to create continuity throughout. Based on our priorities, Jordan helped us to navigate where to spend our budget, and importantly where to save money.
