Country Meets Contemporary | The Perfect Match

When Emma and Judith walked into our Bentleigh showroom, we knew it was a match made in design heaven. After spending almost a decade in a home that was showing its age and years dreaming of a renovation, they were finally ready to bring their vision to life. And what a vision it was. It all began in the kitchen, of course, the home’s gathering place where laughter reigns, memories are made - and the door is always open (especially for midnight snacks).

Bringing this creative and dynamic duo’s kitchen to life was a beautifully collaborative process which resulted in a room that’s just pure joy.

Floor to ceiling Laminex Green Slate Absolute Matte cabinets steal the show, complimented by elegant Dekton Tundra benchtops and splashbacks which delicately reflect light around the room, warmly inviting you in. But this kitchen isn’t just visually striking — it’s incredibly functional. Dual Bosch ovens and a sleek induction cooktop have elevated their cooking experience, while ingenious storage solutions like the Hafele Comfort II Pull-Out sets keep everything neatly organised and grabbable.

The jewel in the crown is the cosy breakfast nook overlooking their pool, a heavenly spot adorned with custom cushions from Little Wing, perfect for a morning coffee and some avo on toast.

And the fun didn't stop at the kitchen. The whole floor plan was cleverly flipped to create a harmonious flow throughout the house, encouraging the renovation into additional spaces.

Each room we transformed was intentionally planned and mindfully upgraded; adapting to suit specific needs. The custom TV unit now boasts a hidden desk space for the whole family — essential for a household with work-from-home adults and a teenager with big dreams.

The snug, a cosy multi-purpose area, has become a treasured space for both work and relaxation. While the bright and spacious laundry room goes beyond being merely functional, it has style and character, mirroring details from the bathroom tiles.

The earthy colour palette woven throughout this home lovingly stitches it all together, while allowing each space its own unique personality. Local and Australian-made fixtures and finishes were chosen wherever possible, adding yet another layer of thoughtfulness to the project, rooting it in home. They've created a space not just for living, but for thriving — and we have no doubt they will.
