Our very own detailed Hampton renovation.

Owners Megan and Jordan invite you to meander through their Hampton home, a project bursting with personality and a whole lotta love. Opening the doors to their family abode, they showcase just what’s possible when you dream big and sprinkle a little custom cabinetry magic into each room.

This project was a journey of self discovery, a renovation centred around creating a home that was true to the family’s personality and style. As always, the kitchen was at the centre - the beating heart that informed the rest of the interior design. Gorgeously green, this space is beyond functional. It’s effortlessly ethereal, and has everything you could hope, dream and wish for, all at your fingertips.

This is not our first Wood Wizards renovation... but it’s definitely our favourite. One of the best parts of our job is the constant learning process. We’re always discovering new colours, styles and details to make every space stand out.

The design process began with the selection of materials for the floor and walls, working from the ground up and setting the tone for the rest of the project. With a strong foundation in place, the next big decision was the cabinetry; enter the modern shaker profile. It works beautifully in this space with heaps of natural light bouncing off cabinetry, highlighting its elegant grooves.

To keep the room grounded, a combination of Polytec Ascot and Calcutta profiles in a pale green Verdelho colour were introduced, weaving in an organic element with Polytec Boston Oak kitchen shelving and Passio Bevan Solid Brass handles to complete the look.

And it doesn’t stop in the kitchen… This calming palette has been invited into each room so the entire design is cohesive and connected. It just works.

Now, turning mealtime into downtime comes down to one thing: systems. Well, perhaps two - systems and storage. From integrated Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, to the Blum Servo-Drive bin, Hafele Kesseböhmer Tandem Pantry and LeMans blind corner cabinet, Megan and Jordan have optimised every inch of this room to make the layout do the heavy lifting. Then there’s everything from Miele to Electrolux and the Sirius rangehood on hand to the the rest. That’s because this duo have been around the kitchen block a few times and understand the difference smart systems can make. That’s why they spill out of the kitchen. In fact, they’re present behind almost every lovingly crafted piece of cabinetry.

Wandering through rooms, you'll notice the same careful consideration has been given to every detail. All drawers, including the Blum soft close and Hafele wardrobe lift rails, are designed to make the most of the available space while remaining unobtrusive. These clever solutions are an invaluable investment, allowing you to save where possible while creating a cohesive and unified look throughout your home.

This latest Hampton renovation has truly created the perfect adaptable space for modern living. Effortlessly shapeshifting between zones, this house is comfortable and purposefully-designed, making it easy to cook up hearty meals (and clean up spills), to work, play and have fun - as a family. It’s home.
