When it came to renovating Kate and David’s kitchen in Brighton East, they were looking to transform their culinary space into a calming, welcoming sanctuary that felt both warm and squeaky clean. Enter the Wizards. Working with our team of custom kitchen designers, we stepped through each part of the couple’s daily routine to ascertain what areas needed focus. From the boiling water tap (goodbye kettle noise) to deep drawers for ample storage, an accessible wine fridge and integrated compost bins, there’s nothing that hasn’t been carefully thought out and intentionally integrated. Don’t be fooled by its handleless elegance and minimal vibe, there is much more to this room than meets the eye…
With many of our projects, what may start out as a simple kitchen transformation can evolve into so much more. Making use of the trades time and capitalising on budget, a number of our clients opt to spruce up other areas of their home while the kitchen renovation is underway. Kate and David were no different, seizing the opportunity to enhance other rooms; integrating additional storage into vacant spaces, revamping two bathrooms, a powder room and a laundry. Incorporating consistent materials and colour tones into these areas allowed the new design to permeate their entire house, creating a wonderful consistency that just feels homely.
With functionality and form at the forefront of every design choice, they’ve not only managed to create a place they want to live in, but importantly have added significant value to their property. A vital component of the renovation as they plan to downsize in a few years and pass on their delightful home for another family to enjoy.
